Our veggies in motion program aspires to encourage individuals of a like-dieted nature to become more active and fit. In an attempt to bring the veggie community together, the HVS has taken a leadership role in organizing and promoting new friendships and newfound abilities through active participation. New members and participants are always welcome. If you feel the need to bring a close friend, please do for they will appreciate the gesture. As we move closer to spring and summer, we will be adding more activities and expeditions to our veggies in motion program.

HVS founder Beau Caza and a group of veggie runners from Toronto completed the Sporting Life 10km over the weekend. At the finish line, representatives and volunteers from the Toronto Vegetarian Association were encouraging others to make the change to a healthier, more environmentally conscious diet. Consuming plant based nutrition increases the bodies energy, stamina and longevity while decreasing the risk of disease, high blood pressure and obesity. If you would like to learn more about the veggie runners, or would like to participate, sign up for our veggie runners program.
