Visit Website

Bridges is a new vegetarian restaurant, built on the McMaster campus. The construction of this new concept is, in part, a reaction to the growing dietary trend among students and an effort to accommodate a rapidly growing lifestyle. The restaurant possesses a neo-retro feel, complete with high ceilings and dynamic lighting. The menu encompasses many distinguishable dishes, ranging from organic quinoa in a tangy tomato reduction too vegetarian chili on flat bread, topped with drizzled balsamic glaze.

Affinity Vegetarian Restaurant

Oriental Vegetarian Cuisine and Buffet
87 John St. South
905-529-2598

Affinity was one of the first vegetarian restaurants in Hamilton. Once inside, an overwhelming sense of culture and mystique take over. While waiting to be seated, it is easy to observe their collection of antique tea pots as well as a variety of teas and spices. The menu itself is quite extensive, ranging from an assortment of appetizers to stirfrys. I do recommend going with an appetite in order to enjoy as many menu options as possible. Affinity hosts an all-you-can-eat buffet that runs from Tuesday to Friday from Noon to 3:00pm.
