Hamilton is very unique by its location. We are situated between Toronto, Canada's largest city, and Niagara Falls: one of seven, wonders of the world. Our farmers cultivate some of the most fertile soil in North America. Our city is known as the waterfall capital of the world, with over 100 waterfalls located within our borders. Trees litter our streets, active citizens walk on our trails, and deer feed in our conservations areas. Hamilton is a truly, beautiful place.
There is a growing undercurrent moving throughout our city. A movement is beginning to gain momentum. People are starting to talk. More importantly, people are starting to listen. It is time to make Hamilton a green city. It is time to become self-sustainable. There are many of us trying to push Hamilton into the next frontier. Where our city can become an environmentally conscious community that acts as a whole, as a collective entity. Become involved by taking part in our eco-community program, our grass roots movement or our local gardens project. All of us at the HVS welcome new ideas and creativity.
Together we can live in harmony with ourselves and with nature. Together we can prosper.
Sincerely,
Beau Caza
